The Grand Scale of Entertainment City

If you are driving along the coast of Manila Bay at night and see a building that looks like it was dipped in liquid gold, you have found Okada Manila. This isn't just a casino. It is a 44-hectare integrated resort that seems designed to prove that the word "excess" doesn't exist in the Filipino vocabulary. It is bright, it is pink, it is gold, and it is undeniably impressive.

Okada is the centerpiece of Entertainment City, Manila's answer to the Vegas Strip or Macau's Cotai. Inside, you will find a gaming floor the size of several football fields, a luxury mall, and a literal indoor beach club where it is always summer, regardless of the weather outside. It is a self-contained universe where the clocks don't matter and the service is always dialed up to eleven.

The Fountain Show

Even if you don't care about poker or luxury suites, you come to Okada for The Fountain. It is one of the largest of its kind in the world, a spectacular display of water, light, and music that rivals the famous fountains of Dubai or Las Vegas. Seeing the water dance against the backdrop of the Manila sunset is a genuine "wow" moment that everyone in the city should experience at least once.

"There is a specific kind of glamour to Okada that feels very international. Walking through the Coral Wing with its high ceilings and endless marble, you forget for a moment that you are in a developing nation. It is a polished, high-definition version of reality."

It is also home to Cove Manila, a massive indoor beach club and nightclub under a giant glass dome. It is where the city’s biggest parties happen, complete with actual sand and temperature-controlled water. It is an incredible feat of engineering and a playground for the city's social elite.
