Nightlife Under the Glass Dome

Cove Manila is one of the largest indoor beach clubs in Southeast Asia, enclosed in a massive glass dome that keeps the temperature controlled and the rain out. It features a swim-up bar, private cabanas with their own jacuzzis, and a state-of-the-art sound and light system. On weekends, it hosts massive party crowds, bringing in international DJs and artists. Honestly, it's a very upscale, flashy experience, and they enforce a strict dress code—so don't show up in slippers or athletic wear unless it's a themed pool party.

The main draw is the pool party vibe without having to leave the city. You can lounge on daybeds while listening to heavy bass. But keep in mind that drinks and food inside are extremely expensive; expect to pay premium hotel prices for everything from bottled water to cocktails. If you're on a budget, it's best to have dinner elsewhere before heading in.

Okada Shuttles and Grab Surges

Getting to Okada Manila by public transit is a headache since there are no direct train routes. Commuters usually go to SM Mall of Asia and take the free Okada shuttle bus from the terminal. However, the queue for the shuttle can get long on Friday and Saturday nights. If you miss the shuttle, your only realistic option is taking a Grab or taxi. The ride back home post-party is equally painful; Grab fares surge heavily after midnight, and finding a cab willing to use the meter is next to impossible. If you are driving, valet parking is available but expensive, and the regular self-park garage is a long walk from the cove entrance.
