Honestly, Rave Park is one of the best-kept secrets for budget-friendly family recreation in Pasig. Also known as the Pasig Rainforest Park, it packs a surprising number of attractions into a relatively compact green space. There is a mini-zoo (zoo-tarium) where kids can see local birds and reptiles, a butterfly house, a botanical garden, and an adventure area that has wall climbing and a mini zip-line. If you want to beat the Philippine heat, their public water park is super popular, especially during the summer break. It is a fantastic local tambayan where you can bring your own packed lunch and rent a picnic cottage for the day without breaking the bank.

Just a heads up, the commute here can be quite a challenge, especially during weekday rush hours or hot weekend afternoons. The park is located along F. Legaspi Street in Maybunga, Pasig. If you are driving, the narrow streets leading to the park can get extremely congested with tricycles and local traffic. The parking lot is quite small and gets completely packed by Sunday morning, so you might have to park far away on the street. If you are commuting, your best bet is to take a jeepney from the MRT-3 Shaw Boulevard Station heading to Pasig Palengke, get off at the main intersection, and then take a tricycle from the terminal straight to the park gate. It is a bit of a bumpy ride, but it's the standard local way to get there.

The park itself has a very lively, community-focused vibe. You will see local running clubs jogging along the pathways in the early morning, and families setting up picnic blankets under the trees. The facilities are a bit dated, and the public restrooms can get quite messy during peak weekend hours, so keep your expectations realistic. But considering how cheap the tickets are—especially if you are a registered Pasig resident with a local ID—it is an incredible public amenity that offers a green escape in the middle of Pasig's industrial and residential sprawl.
