Honestly, Greenbelt 4 is where you go if you want to see the pinnacle of luxury retail in the Philippines. Unlike the bustling, family-oriented malls nearby, Greenbelt 4 is quiet, spacious, and extremely polished. It is the designated luxury wing of the Greenbelt complex, featuring massive flagship stores for brands like Louis Vuitton, Gucci, Prada, and Burberry. The security guards here look like they are secret service agents, and the floors are always polished to a mirror shine. Even if you aren't planning to drop six figures on a handbag, it's a great spot for window shopping or grabbing a fancy cup of coffee while enjoying the quiet, air-conditioned atmosphere.

Just a heads up, getting to Makati's central business district during the weekday rush hour is a massive struggle. If you are driving, the traffic along Ayala Avenue and Makati Avenue is completely brutal. Finding a parking slot in the Greenbelt basement can be a test of patience, and the parking fees add up quickly. If you want to bypass the traffic, your best option is taking the MRT-3 to Ayala Station. From there, you can walk through the interconnected, air-conditioned walkways of SM Makati, Glorietta, and Landmark until you reach Greenbelt. It is a bit of a trek, but it beats sitting in gridlock for two hours. Jeepneys also ply the Ayala-Makati Avenue loop, but they get packed to the gills by 5 PM.

Inside, you won't find the usual mall crowd or loud arcade noises. The corridors are wide, and the boutiques have strict entrance protocols, sometimes requiring you to line up outside if it is a busy weekend. The customer service in these stores is top-tier, as you would expect. Once you are done browsing, you can easily walk over to the lush green park in the center of the Greenbelt complex to decompress, which is a nice escape from the retail therapy environment.
